Poppy is my rescue greyhound of six years. On 16 September we rushed to the Kansas City Emergency Vet Clinic with pyometra. The vet recommends orthopedic surgery, and the estimate came to $1,350. They have stabilized Poppy, but the treatment can't wait beyond November. Poppy is more than a pet - Poppy is the reason I get out of bed. I have already put $340 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to the Kansas City Emergency Vet Clinic's charity fund for other animals. Where the $1,350 goes: • Emergency surgery: $810 • Hospitalization (2 nights): $260 • Medication and follow-up visits: $125 • Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $155 Every share and every dollar helps.
