My father Shailesh has been accepted for treatment at Nagpur Transplant Centre in Nagpur, starting on Thursday in January. We live 409 km away in a rural district, and hotel costs would use up what we have set aside for the treatment itself. We're looking for a room, granny flat or short-term rental within about 30 minutes of the hospital, for 5 weeks. Two of us would stay: Shailesh and me. We can contribute $20 a week and cook for the household if you'd like. Shailesh will have some immune precautions, so a clean, smoke-free place would be ideal. A kitchen is a bonus. Thank you. Thank you so much.

  • Good luck. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected.
