Pierre's a craniotomy can't wait - please help us cover the bill
After a herniated spinal disc, Pierre was cleared for a craniotomy, but the bill is more than we can manage.

Pierre was diagnosed with a herniated spinal disc in July. The surgeon at Paris University Hospital recommended a craniotomy, and He is scheduled for September. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $3,450, and after what our health plan will pay we're still $2,600 short.
my brother has been in and out of Paris University Hospital since July. The doctors say a herniated spinal disc will get worse without a craniotomy. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $3,450 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Pierre struggles with daily life and can't stand for more than ten minutes. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Recovery is expected to take about 3 weeks. During that time Pierre won't be able to stand for more than ten minutes, so the costs keep growing.
