Mocha is my three-legged dog of thirteen years. On 29 July we rushed to Mumbai Animal Hospital with severe tick fever. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $150. They have stabilized Mocha, but the treatment can't wait beyond October. Mocha is more than a pet - Mocha walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $30 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Mumbai Animal Hospital's charity fund for other animals. Where the $150 goes: • Medication and follow-up visits: $50 • Hospitalization (4 nights): $55 • Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $45 I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
