Rides to dialysis three times a week for Hlengiwe in George
Could you drive Hlengiwe to George Regional Medical Center on Sunday? A rota of 3 drivers is forming.

Hlengiwe has been on dialysis for 5 years and until recently drove to George Regional Medical Center alone. After a foot amputation, Hlengiwe can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week.
We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 3 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 19 km each way.
Hlengiwe is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food.
Please say which day works for you in the comments.

Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Thinking of George.
Hang in there, Christo. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. My neighbor in New Orleans donated after I showed her your page. Love from New Orleans
Sending love. I hope things turn around soon. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. All the best.
Shared this with my family. I have a 9 year old who wants to send good wishes too!
Praying for you. Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. Take care.
Rooting for you. Shared it with a few friends. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Take care.
