Save Ginger: Lauren can't afford the emergency vet
A German shepherd named Ginger needs orthopedic surgery - a $2,800 bill the family can't cover.

Ginger is my German shepherd of two years. On 25 July we rushed to Riverside Veterinary Centre with a foreign object blocking the intestines. The vet recommends orthopedic surgery, and the estimate came to $2,800.
They have stabilized Ginger, but the treatment can't wait beyond September.
Ginger is more than a pet - Ginger is the reason I get out of bed. I have already put $250 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Riverside Veterinary Centre's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $2,800 goes:
• Medication and follow-up visits: $260
• Emergency surgery: $2,150
• Hospitalization (2 nights): $390
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.
