Archie is my three-legged dog of three years. On 17 September we rushed to Jinja Veterinary Centre with kidney failure. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $200. They have stabilized Archie, but the treatment can't wait beyond November. Archie is more than a pet - Archie is the reason I get out of bed. I have already put $40 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Jinja Veterinary Centre's charity fund for other animals. Where the $200 goes: • Medication and follow-up visits: $30 • Emergency surgery: $160 • Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $10 Glad we found this place. - Athumani

  • Hope it all works out. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Blessings
