Sade wants to stay at home - help fund three months of care
Sade, 75, needs daily care to stay at home, and the family is raising $550 for a carer and medicines.

I'm caring for me, who's 75. After a diagnosis of dementia Sade can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Sade desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 50 hours a week and have cut back to look after her, but we need a part-time carer.
Sade worked all of her life as a farmer, and raised 5 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for three months will make a huge difference.
Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies.
Where the $550 goes:
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $85
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $40
• Part-time carer (three months): $425

is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Sade.
Sure. The biggest one is mobility aids and bathroom adaptations, $85. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Good question.
