Rudi was diagnosed with early-stage lung cancer in June. The oncology team at Semarang Cancer Centre has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in September. He will be away from work for about 3 weeks. Rudi is 41, worked as a farmer until June, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Semarang Cancer Centre 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
