My father Leonardo has been accepted for treatment at Oaxaca de Juárez Children's Hospital in Oaxaca de Juárez, starting on Tuesday in May. We live 492 km away in a village four hours away, and hotel costs would use up what we have set aside for the treatment itself. We're looking for a room, granny flat or short-term rental within about 30 minutes of the hospital, for 6 weeks. Two of us would stay: Leonardo and me. We can contribute $20 a week and cook for the household if you'd like. Leonardo will have some immune precautions, so a clean, smoke-free place would be ideal. A kitchen is a bonus. Thank you. I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Take care. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My neighbor in Likoni donated after I showed her your page.

    • Stay strong, Julián. I hope things turn around soon. I'm in engineering myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you!
