Rodrigo received an eviction notice - help us catch up on rent
A 10-day notice to quit arrived last week. Rodrigo needs $800 to clear the arrears and stay housed in Porto Alegre.

Following a long illness in the family, I fell 5 months behind on rent. Last Monday a 10-day notice to quit was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $800.
My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by August, we must leave.
I have a toddler and a baby at home. Moving isn't just an expense - it would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
I have started working weekend shifts, and I'm applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
The money will be paid directly to the landlord and I'll upload the receipt once it's done.
Where the $800 goes:
• First month of rent as a buffer: $280
• Utilities in arrears: $75
• Rent arrears (5 months): $445
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.
