Rides to dialysis three times a week for Seema in Ludhiana
Could you drive Seema to the Ludhiana Kidney Centre on Wednesday? A rota of 6 drivers is forming.
🇮🇳 Ludhiana, Punjab, India370 views
Seema has been on dialysis for 5 years and until recently drove to the Ludhiana Kidney Centre alone. After an eyesight problem, Seema can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week.
We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 3 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 29 km each way.
Seema is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food.
Please say which day works for you in the comments.
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Stay strong, Arjun. Hope you get there. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. All the best
Sending strength. Wishing Seema a smooth procedure and a full recovery. My mother had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Love from Hamilton
Take care. I hope things turn around soon. Don't give up. Love from Tarkwa.
Sending strength. Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. I went through something like this 12 years ago and strangers helped me out. All the best.
