Farewell fund for Markus: help Ludwig's family in Cologne

Markus, my grandfather, passed away on 19 September after a long fight with kidney disease. He was 91 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance. The funeral home has given us a quote of $4,400 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 30 September. I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Markus to have a dignified farewell. Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
