Rides to dialysis three times a week for Sebastian in Los Angeles

A rota of drivers to the Los Angeles Dialysis Unit would keep Sebastian on treatment. Even one trip a week helps.

Sebastian has been on dialysis for 4 years and until recently drove to the Los Angeles Dialysis Unit alone. After an eyesight problem, Sebastian can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week. We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 4 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 23 km each way. Sebastian is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food. Please say which day works for you in the comments. Thanks for being kind about this.
