After a hip fracture that never healed properly, Jacob was cleared for hip replacement surgery, but the bill is more than we can manage.

Jacob was diagnosed with a hip fracture that never healed properly in July. The surgeon at Saint Elizabeth Hospital recommended hip replacement surgery, and He is scheduled for November. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $7,000, and after what my insurance will pay we're still $5,250 short.
my father has been in and out of Saint Elizabeth Hospital since July. The doctors say a hip fracture that never healed properly will get worse without hip replacement surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $7,000 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Jacob struggles with daily life and can't drive. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
The recovery period is expected to take about 10 weeks. During that time Jacob won't be able to drive, so the costs keep growing.
The money goes straight to the treatment bills, and I'll share the invoices as they're paid so you can see exactly what your gift did.
