Rides to dialysis three times a week for Saki in Tokyo

A rota of drivers to Tokyo General Hospital would keep Saki on treatment. Even one trip a week helps.

Saki has been on dialysis for 4 years and until recently drove to Tokyo General Hospital alone. After surgery on their hand, Saki can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week. We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 3 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 23 km each way. Saki is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food. Please say which day works for you in the comments. I hope life is good to you.
