Start-up fund for Peyton: reopening a street-food cart after the demolition of the market
Peyton lost a gas stove and two refrigerators to the demolition of the market and needs $2,900 to reopen a street-food cart and support the family.

For three years I have run a street-food cart in Cardiff. In September, the demolition of the market took a gas stove and two refrigerators. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Monday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 6 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $2,900 goes:
• Initial stock: ingredients: $540
• Shop repairs and licensing: $320
• Replacing a gas stove and two refrigerators: $2,040
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.

Is there anything that isn't money that would help Peyton?
Sharing the link is the biggest thing. And if you know anything about initial stock: ingredients, advice is welcome too. Fair thing to want to know.
Wishing you peace, Peyton. This could happen to any of us. Thinking of Cardiff
shared this with my family. Put this on a community board in Odesa this morning. God bless.
Is initial stock: ingredients the biggest cost or is there more coming?
Initial stock: ingredients is $540 of it. Everything else is listed in the story and nothing outside that list comes out of this page. Happy to explain more.
I hope things turn around soon. After 22 years in hospitality I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Thinking of Cardiff.
How is Peyton doing now?
Shared this with my family. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Love from Moscow
Good luck, Peyton. It takes guts to ask. Well done. All the best!
Rooting for you. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Love from Londrina!
Hope things get better soon, Peyton. Small businesses are the heart of Cardiff. Hope you're open again soon. My mother had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. God bless
Wishing you the best, Peyton. Looking forward to the next update. Sent it to 19 people at work. All the best.
