Rides to dialysis three times a week for Naveen in Saket

A rota of drivers to the Saket Kidney Centre would keep Naveen on treatment. Even one trip a week helps.

Naveen has been on dialysis for 4 years and until recently drove to the Saket Kidney Centre alone. After a minor stroke, Naveen can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week. We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 4 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 22 km each way. Naveen is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food. Please say which day works for you in the comments. Thanks for being kind about this.
