Rides to dialysis three times a week for Nam in Cầu Giấy
A rota of drivers to the Cầu Giấy Dialysis Unit would keep Nam on treatment. Even one trip a week helps.
🇻🇳 Cầu Giấy, Hanoi, Vietnam1,347 views
Nam has been on dialysis for 2 years and until recently drove to the Cầu Giấy Dialysis Unit alone. After a foot amputation, Nam can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week.
We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 3 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 13 km each way.
Nam is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food.
Please say which day works for you in the comments.
Thank you for reading my story.

you're not alone, Giang. Shared it with a few friends. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money.
