Rides to dialysis three times a week for Julien in Marseille
A rota of drivers to the Marseille Kidney Centre would keep Julien on treatment. Even one trip a week helps.
🇫🇷 Marseille, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, France63 views
Julien has been on dialysis for 3 years and until recently drove to the Marseille Kidney Centre alone. After a foot amputation, Julien can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week.
We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 4 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 28 km each way.
Julien is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food.
Please say which day works for you in the comments.
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Hope you get there. I went through something like this 9 years ago and strangers helped me out. Thinking of Marseille!
