Back-to-school fund for Maina

I earned a place in Year 11 at Embakasi Girls' High School, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the graphic design course, and a uniform. My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $200, which is more than we have. I love graphic design and want to become an architect. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours. I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard. I'll buy the items from the school's approved supplier and post photos of everything. Where the $200 goes: • Laptop: $95 • School uniform and shoes: $35 • Textbooks and workbooks: $45 • Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $25 I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen. - Maina
