I'm caring for me, who's 80. After a fall and hip fracture Ricardo can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Ricardo desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 50 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Ricardo worked all of his life as a seamstress, and raised 3 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for three months will make a huge difference.
Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies.

• Medication and prescriptions: $200
• Part-time carer (three months): $1,690
