After a thyroid nodule that needs removal, Raymond was cleared for septoplasty, but the bill is more than we can manage.

Raymond was diagnosed with a thyroid nodule that needs removal in August. The surgeon at Los Angeles General Hospital recommended septoplasty, and He is scheduled for November. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $10,750, and after what the government subsidy will pay we're still $6,400 short.
my father has been in and out of Los Angeles General Hospital since August. The doctors say a thyroid nodule that needs removal will get worse without septoplasty. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $10,750 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Raymond struggles with daily life and can't stand for more than ten minutes. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
The recovery period is expected to take about 12 weeks. During that time Raymond won't be able to stand for more than ten minutes, so the costs keep growing.
