I make my living with my food truck. 10 weeks ago the suspension failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,750. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my two daughters and my mother. Before the breakdown I worked ten hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $1,750 goes:
• suspension replacement (parts): $1,000
• Labor charges: $340
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $290
• Towing and inspection: $120

Sure. The biggest one is suspension replacement (parts), $1,000. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Thanks for asking.
