Plant 3,500 native trees around the Harmony canal in Bandung
A neighborhood-led restoration of the Harmony canal needs $400 for saplings and equipment.

The Harmony canal has been used as an informal dump for years. This September, 72 neighbors turned up for a first cleanup, filling 155 bags in a single morning. Now we want to restore it for good.
We have a plan agreed with the district council, including native species selected by a local botanist.
The area floods more each year, and fish have returned for the first time in a decade after our first cleanup. Restoring it will protect homes and bring back shade.
All the labor is volunteered. We just need materials.
Funds buy saplings, gloves, bags, hire of a skip, and signage.
Where the $400 goes:
• Native saplings and stakes: $175
• Tools and protective gear: $75
• Waste removal and skip hire: $135
• Signage and educational materials: $15
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Rooting for you, Vino. More neighborhoods should do this. We're a small family in Mandurah but we're thinking of you.
Rooting for you, Vino. Gave what I could, wish it was more. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. God bless.
Thinking of you, Vino. I hope things turn around soon. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust.
Projects like this are what make a place worth living in. Greetings from Coatzacoalcos.
Hope it all works out. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. After 22 years in retail I know how hard it is to ask for anything.
Praying for you, Vino. This could happen to any of us. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry.
