Pichai needs a lift to the Bangkok Kidney Centre - can you help one day a week?
Pichai needs dialysis three times a week and has lost the ability to drive; volunteer drivers can each take one day.

Pichai has been on dialysis for 2 years and until recently drove to the Bangkok Kidney Centre alone. After a minor stroke, Pichai can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week.
We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 3 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 22 km each way.
Pichai is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food.
Please say which day works for you in the comments.
Thank you so much.

This could happen to any of us. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Greetings from Likoni.
Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Wish I lived closer to Mumbai so I could bring a meal.
shared this with my family. I'm in retail myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Greetings from San Fernando.
You're not alone, Ake. Get well soon. I have a 15 year old who wants to send good wishes too. God bless.
Stay strong, Ake. Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. My husband and I read this together. Love from San Diego.
thanks for sharing this. Hope this works out for you. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. All the best.
Hope things get better soon, Ake. Hope you get there. God bless.
