Sumaiya's Hodgkin lymphoma treatment fund
Sumaiya is facing Hodgkin lymphoma and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Sumaiya was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma in June. The oncology team at Nashik Regional Medical Center has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in September. She will be away from work for about 7 weeks.
Sumaiya is 45, worked as a taxi driver until June, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Nashik Regional Medical Center 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $1,800 goes:
• Household costs while unable to work: $290
• Scans and lab work: $250
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,150
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $110
