Patricia was diagnosed with colon cancer in April. The oncology team at Raleigh University Hospital has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in August. She will be away from work for about 7 weeks. Patricia is 24, worked as a bakery worker until April, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Raleigh University Hospital 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $2,950 goes: • Scans and lab work: $540 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $620 • Transport to Raleigh University Hospital: $760 • Household costs while unable to work: $1,030 I hope life is good to you.
