Does anyone know a tenant-rights lawyer willing to help for free? Violet, Sacramento
Legal aid is overbooked; a few hours of professional help would change the outcome for Violet.

I'm facing an unpaid wages claim, with a hearing on November. I earn too much to qualify for legal aid on paper, but not nearly enough to pay a lawyer's retainer.
I'm looking for a qualified tenant-rights lawyer licensed in California who might be able to review my documents, prepare me for the hearing, or take the case pro bono or on a reduced fee.
I've organized my documents chronologically, and I'll share them with the lawyer who agrees to help. I can travel to your office in Sacramento or meet online.
I understand that the time of a lawyer is valuable, and I'm deeply grateful for any help or for suggestions of organizations that could assist.
Glad we found this place.

So sorry you're going through this. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Wish I lived closer to Jakarta so I could bring a meal. Take care.
Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I have a 17 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Blessings
