I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying a law degree at Cebu City Community College, and I'm one term away from graduating. I have worked as a warehouse packer to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $900. The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a 3.8 average, and my faculty supervisor has written in support of my application for a payment plan. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility. I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student. Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees. Where the $900 goes: • Outstanding tuition balance: $320 • Final term tuition: $520 • Exam and lab fees: $15 • Textbooks and materials: $45 Thanks for being kind about this.

Updates from Remedios

  1. Update from Cebu City: we've booked the dates and paid the deposit. We're at 69% of the goal. Thank you for believing in us.

  2. Wanted to say thank you properly. 59% funded and we've booked the dates and paid the deposit.

  3. Thank you all. We're at 17% now ($150). I'm honestly stunned. I met with the university and confirmed the amounts.
