Rekha is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a master's in public health at Lucknow University, and is one term away from graduating. She has worked as a shop assistant to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $500. The registrar has said Rekha can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Rekha has a 3.6 average, and a department head has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Rekha would lose her place and scholarship eligibility. Rekha isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Lucknow University bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $500 goes: • Final term tuition: $240 • Outstanding tuition balance: $195 • Textbooks and materials: $65 Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.
