Start-up fund for Evangelos: reopening a sewing studio after a long illness and repossession
A sewing studio in Patras needs help replacing a cutting table and overlocker after a long illness and repossession.
🇬🇷 Patras, Western Greece, Greece1,295 views
For nine years I have run a sewing studio in Patras. In March, a long illness and repossession took a cutting table and overlocker. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Friday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 7 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $1,750 goes:
• Working capital for the first month: $310
• Shop repairs and licensing: $125
• Replacing a cutting table and overlocker: $1,315
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.
