Lia is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a master's in public health at the Bekasi Institute of Technology, and is one semester away from graduating. She has worked as a barista to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $450. The registrar has said Lia can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Lia has a 3.6 average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Lia would lose her place and scholarship eligibility. Lia isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the the Bekasi Institute of Technology bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $450 goes: • Outstanding tuition balance: $200 • Final term tuition: $190 • Exam and lab fees: $20 • Textbooks and materials: $40 If you're reading this, thank you. - Citra
