Independence for Tarun: cochlear implant processor upgrade
Tarun needs a cochlear implant processor upgrade that the health system won't fund; the cost is $100.

I live with a rare neuromuscular condition. My occupational therapist at the Indore Rehabilitation Centre has assessed me and recommended a cochlear implant processor upgrade. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $100.
My current equipment is 12 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 6 weeks.
With the right equipment I could go outside without waiting for someone to push. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $100 goes:
• Fitting and training sessions: $30
• Delivery and set-up: $35
• First-year servicing plan: $35
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.
Updates from Tarun
Quick update: $25 raised so far (25%). the first invoice got paid this week. Receipts coming as soon as I have them.
Small update. $50 so far, I made the first payment toward fitting and training sessions.
Thank you all. We're at 75% now ($75). I'm honestly stunned. the plan for fitting and training sessions is now scheduled.
