Volunteers wanted: Arthur's yard after the storm
Arthur, 81, can no longer manage the yard after a storm; we're looking for helpers with chainsaws and rakes.

I'm 81 and I have lived in this house in Duque de Caxias for 26 years. After the storm in May, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of my hip replacement.
The council has told me it will be twelve weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: a small team to cut, stack and carry away branches. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
I hope life is good to you.

Stay strong, Arthur. Hope you get there. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Love from Houston.
Hope it all works out. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. Sent it to 33 people at work. Blessings
Sending strength. I hope things turn around soon. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Take care.
