Gwagwalada
Kunle is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying an electrical engineering diploma at Gwagwalada University, and is one term away from graduating. He has worked as a delivery rider to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $400. The registrar has said Kunle can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Kunle has a top-ten-percent average, and a professor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Kunle would lose his place and scholarship eligibility. Kunle isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Gwagwalada University bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $400 goes: • Outstanding tuition balance: $145 • Final term tuition: $210 • Exam and lab fees: $15 • Textbooks and materials: $30 If you're reading this, thank you.

  • hang in there. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Love from Guadalupe.
