Ezra, my father, passed away on 6 September after a stroke. He was 87 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance. The funeral home has given us a quote of $2,650 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 19 September. I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Ezra to have a dignified farewell. Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers. Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to a local food bank. Where the $2,650 goes: โ€ข Transport of the deceased: $360 โ€ข Memorial gathering for the family: $440 โ€ข Cemetery plot and burial fees: $1,850 Glad we found this place.
