Chiang Mai
Hathai is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a law degree at the Chiang Mai Institute of Technology, and is one term away from graduating. She has worked as a night-shift cleaner to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $1,350. The registrar has said Hathai can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Hathai has a top-ten-percent average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Hathai would lose her place and scholarship eligibility. Hathai isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the the Chiang Mai Institute of Technology bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $1,350 goes: • Outstanding tuition balance: $730 • Final term tuition: $500 • Exam and lab fees: $60 • Textbooks and materials: $60 I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Good luck. It takes guts to ask. Well done. My neighbor in Faisalabad donated after I showed her your page. Blessings

    • Wishing you the best. Shared this with my family. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like.
