Emergency vet bill for Willow in Tijuana

A dog named Willow needs an operation to remove the blockage - a $600 bill the family can't cover.

Willow is my dog of three years. On 15 September we rushed to Tijuana Veterinary Centre with bloat. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $600. They have stabilized Willow, but the treatment can't wait beyond November. Willow is more than a pet - Willow got me through my hardest year. I have already put $30 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Tijuana Veterinary Centre's charity fund for other animals. Where the $600 goes: • Emergency surgery: $220 • Hospitalization (2 nights): $165 • Medication and follow-up visits: $75 • Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $140 If you're reading this, thank you. - Paloma

Thanks for sharing this. This could happen to any of us. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Greetings from Manchester
