Nsukka
Festus is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a degree in civil engineering at the Nsukka Institute of Technology, and is one semester away from graduating. He has worked as a barista to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $550. The registrar has said Festus can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Festus has a 3.6 average, and a professor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Festus would lose his place and scholarship eligibility. Festus isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student. Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees. Where the $550 goes: • Outstanding tuition balance: $170 • Final term tuition: $340 • Exam and lab fees: $15 • Textbooks and materials: $25 I hope life is good to you. - Abubakar
