One semester away: help Carter graduate from San Diego State College
Carter has worked and saved for five years to study a nursing degree; a $5,750 gap now stands between him and graduation.

I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying a nursing degree at San Diego State College, and I'm one term away from graduating. I have worked as a shop assistant to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $5,750.
The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a distinction average, and my academic advisor has written in support of my application for a payment plan.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility.
I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the San Diego State College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $5,750 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $2,700
• Final term tuition: $2,400
• Exam and lab fees: $290
• Textbooks and materials: $360
With deep gratitude,
Carter

Rooting for you, Carter. Good luck with the exams, you've got this. My neighbor in Mecca donated after I showed her your page. Greetings from Mecca.
Praying for you, Carter. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. All the best.
