Oliver needs two washing machines and a dryer to reopen a laundry service
Oliver lost two washing machines and a dryer to a fire in the building and needs $3,550 to reopen a laundry service and support the family.

For nine years I have run a laundry service in Dayton. In July, a fire in the building took two washing machines and a dryer. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Friday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 5 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $3,550 goes:
• Initial stock: detergent and packaging: $820
• Working capital for the first month: $300
• Replacing two washing machines and a dryer: $2,430
I hope life is good to you.

Updates from Oliver
Good news. Because of your gifts ($1,040 in total) the plan for working capital for the first month is now scheduled. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.

Thanks for sharing this. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Put this on a community board in Manchester this morning. Take care.
Wishing you the best, Oliver. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. God bless
Thinking of you and your family, Oliver. I hope things turn around soon. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected.
