Ngozi needs a freezer and scales to reopen a fish stall
Ngozi has run a fish stall for nine years; a break-in destroyed the equipment, and $550 will put it back on its feet.

For nine years I have run a fish stall in Abuja. In June, a break-in took a freezer and scales. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Tuesday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 4 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $550 goes:
• Initial stock: the first catch: $105
• Replacing a freezer and scales: $440
• Shop repairs and licensing: $5
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Good luck, Ngozi. Hope the shop reopens soon.
Sending good thoughts. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Wish I lived closer to Duisburg so I could bring a meal. All the best
