Nargis needs my tuk-tuk repaired to get back to work in Narayanganj
Nargis drives for a living in Narayanganj, and a broken gearbox has stopped all income for 6 weeks.

I make my living with my tuk-tuk. 6 weeks ago the gearbox failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $100. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my younger brothers and sisters. Before the breakdown I worked nine hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $100 goes:
• Labor charges: $35
• Towing and inspection: $10
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $55
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

thinking of you, Nargis. This could happen to any of us. I have a 12 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Love from Pelotas
Wishing you peace, Nargis. Hope the shop reopens soon. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry.
hope you get there. My neighbor in Abuja donated after I showed her your page. Take care.
