My tuk-tuk: Farah's only way to earn a living
Farah's my tuk-tuk is Farah's only source of income and needs a transmission replacement costing $600.

I make my living with my tuk-tuk. 4 weeks ago the transmission failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $600. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my two daughters and my mother. Before the breakdown I worked eleven hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $600 goes:
• transmission replacement (parts): $340
• Labor charges: $85
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $140
• Towing and inspection: $35
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Thinking of you. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Love from Phuket.
Praying for you. This could happen to any of us. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Greetings from Sacramento!
Take care, Farah. I hope things turn around soon
Wishing you the best. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Blessings.
