My tuk-tuk: Denise's only way to earn a living

Without my tuk-tuk Denise can't work; a $1,250 repair would put her back on the road.

I make my living with my tuk-tuk. 12 weeks ago the rear axle failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,250. Without the vehicle I earn nothing. I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask. I support my two daughters and my mother. Before the breakdown I worked nine hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working. I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here. I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update. Where the $1,250 goes: • rear axle replacement (parts): $660 • Labor charges: $280 • Road tax and insurance renewal: $185 • Towing and inspection: $125 I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support. - Denise
