Mitu needs a powered wheelchair that the health system won't fund; the cost is $850.

Mitu lives with low vision from retinitis pigmentosa. The occupational therapist at the Durgapur Rehabilitation Centre has assessed her and recommended a powered wheelchair. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $850.
Her current equipment is 8 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 10 weeks.
With the right equipment Mitu could get to the shops and visit friends. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
