My taxi: Logan's only way to earn a living
Without my taxi Logan can't work; a $1,800 repair would put him back on the road.

I make my living with my taxi. 7 weeks ago the clutch assembly failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,800. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my family of five. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $1,800 goes:
• clutch assembly replacement (parts): $1,350
• Labor charges: $190
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $170
• Towing and inspection: $90
Thanks for being kind about this.

Updates from Logan
Quick update: $277 raised so far (15%). the plan for road tax and insurance renewal is now scheduled. Receipts coming as soon as I have them.
Good news. Because of your gifts ($107 in total) we've started the first stage. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
