My school-run minibus: Gennaro's only way to earn a living
Gennaro drives for a living in Bergamo, and a broken rear axle has stopped all income for 6 weeks.

I make my living with my school-run minibus. 6 weeks ago the rear axle failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,250. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my 2 children. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $1,250 goes:
• rear axle replacement (parts): $930
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $210
• Labor charges: $110
Thank you so much.

I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Thinking of Bergamo.
You're not alone. Shared it with a few friends. My neighbor in Quetta donated after I showed her your page.
Shared it with a few friends. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Blessings.
Keep going, Gennaro. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Thinking of Bergamo!
