I make my living with my ride-share car. 7 weeks ago the fuel pump failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $150. Without the vehicle I earn nothing. I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask. I support my family of five. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working. I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here. I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update. Where the $150 goes: • fuel pump replacement (parts): $65 • Labor charges: $30 • Road tax and insurance renewal: $20 • Towing and inspection: $35 Thank you so much.

Updates from Tadesse

  1. Good news. Because of your gifts ($10 in total) the plan for road tax and insurance renewal is now scheduled. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.

  2. Quick update: $35 raised so far (23%). the plan for road tax and insurance renewal is now scheduled. Receipts coming as soon as I have them.

  3. Update from Gondar: the first invoice got paid this week. We're at 23% of the goal. Thank you for believing in us.
